Well, everyone loved the show but I'm not sure if the monkey was really having fun.
Above is it's trainer, she taught the chimpanzee Japanese and how to do many things, like fake punch and jump:
Which is an amazing skill, but...
...But you can kind of tell tell, the chimp is just waiting for a chance take revenge and make an escape.
Located not to far from the crazy area known as Roppongi, the main function of this thing is a radio and television transmission tower and place for people to stand and look down.
It also serves a cultural function similar to the Eiffel Tower, in that of movies and cartoons you will see this in the background. As a way to setup where the story is taking place. Tokyo does point out there tower is 4 tons, the ET is 7 tons.... I think someone is trying to say it is better engineered.
The view looking down is amazing, an area of the city known as minato, full of apartments and small business.
The view looking out is good too, above is mori tower, this building might all ready be somewhere on this blog.

Scattered about the weeds and other refuse that survived the winter, flowers have started to appear!
These flowers are from bulbs I found in the soil last year when I removed most of the ground cover from the garden to make room for vegetables. I took those bulbs and moved them to the corners to see if anything would happen later.
Between the flowers are mostly weeds and some dried out left over chillies from last year. Soon I will clear this out and get ready for garden 2010. I hope to have something in the ground as soon as it warms up. I hope to plant some watermelon this year too.
Next wash the rice and make it into koji, I think this is the room where they make the koji:
The koji is then mixed with the yeast in large tanks and left to ferment.
This is looking down into a tank, it smells good, like bread.
Next something happens and Sake is made. Serving the Sake is more easy, this guys pours the finish product into glass server then fills little cups for everyone:

Tortillas in Japan is not very weird, a pack of 10 coast about $5, but the name of these tortillas caught my attention. Kind of named in honor of my aunt. It's to bad my comal is somewhere in Seattle.
